Before You Order
Yes. The chakla is made from marble, with the design hand-painted onto the stone. Because it is natural stone, the veining varies from piece to piece.
It is made for regular kitchen use — rolling rotis, puris and parathas. Marble is dense and stays put on the counter while you roll.
Wipe it clean with a damp cloth and let it dry. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive scrubbers, which can dull the painted detailing.
The design is hand-painted directly onto the marble and finished with a protective coating, so it holds up well with normal daily use. To keep it looking its best, wipe with a damp cloth after use and avoid soaking it or scrubbing with harsh chemicals or abrasive pads.
Each piece is wrapped individually and packed with protective padding, since marble needs support in transit.
