Before You Order
Yes. The kundi is cut from marble. Because it is natural stone, the veining and tone vary from piece to piece — no two are the same.
It is made for regular kitchen use — grinding masala, garlic, ginger and wet pastes. Marble is dense, so the base stays put while you work.
Rinse it with water and wipe it dry after use. Avoid detergent and harsh chemicals — stone holds on to what you wash it with.
See the size guide above. The smaller sizes suit everyday ginger, garlic and small masala batches; the larger ones are for bigger, regular grinding.
The kundi and the pestle are wrapped separately and packed with protective padding, since stone needs support in transit.
